A very attentive and caring host.
It's the first time I've been to a hotel where the owner is so attentive and caring for his guests. Eco Friendly is owned by Harry Jiménez, who can pick up his guests at the airport himself, only need to make arrangements with him in advance, he is also a certified guide from the Galapagos National Park Service and can help organize tours. Guests who made it to the hotel on their own, Harry greets them himself. When we checked in, our room ended up on the second floor, we asked Harry to move us to the first floor, because my friend has bad knees and climbing the stairs is a big problem. The host immediately responded to our request and provided us with a room on the 1st floor. During breakfast, Harry also helps cook and serve his guests. It's amazing how one person can give so much attention and care to their guests. Hotel accommodation is comfortable, with air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, safe and free Wi-Fi. The area is small but cozy, there is a relaxation area, lots of green space, a cooler with cold and hot water is installed. The hotel is about 800 metres from the beach and the city centre. You can walk to the waterfront for 15 minutes, or take a taxi for $2. The hotel accommodation was very enjoyable, thank you very much to Harry for such incredible hospitality.

A disappointment
We stayed for 6 nights at the hotel (Monday to Sunday) and saw some amazing animals and places in the Galapagos. The hotel was okay but it did not live up to the rave reviews on Tripadvisor. The rooms we were allocated were room 1 which was musty, while our son was put in room 4 which he discovered had no power in any of the power outlets. It took some time to move us to new rooms as owner, Lucretia, was not immediately available. Owner, Harry, was away on another island that day and there were no other staff on site.
We had paid for 2 tours 6 months prior with direct money transfers to Harry, but we were told by Lucretia that the first tour time had changed to the following morning (Tuesday) at 8am instead of the agreed 1pm. After 2 recent dawn transfers and still recovering from altitude sickness from Cusco, we declined the early morning tour, suggesting the following day, Wednesday, would work (morning or afternoon) but this was not available. Luckily the second tour we had paid for went ahead as planned on Thursday.
We decided to book our own daily tours and excursions beginning with the Highlands tour on Tuesday at 1pm which we enjoyed very much. We were, however, disappointed not to have received the personalised service and attention to detail that was advertised.
There are many good restaurants by the harbour but it is quite a hike back up the steep hill to the hotel after dinner. We believe the best option would be to find a hotel or Airbnb close to the harbour and DIY excursions.

We feel sorry for you, that was a disappointment for you.
The humidity in Galápagos is very high, we recommend turn on the A/C , and yes the room 4 had a circuit that we can't explain what happened in that moment, that breakers blows off, yes, my wife was not able to turn on again the breaker, that is why she gave you another room and we fix the problem instantly, ( nothing that we can't fix),.

We do not offer any single Tour, but if someone need help to find a Tour we can help you to find the best option, but we don't offer tours!.
In your case you ask to help you to find a tour and we did.
For this we have to pay in advance to the tour operator and they don't refund the money even if tou are sick or not, but because we don't want you to have a bud experiences we gave YOU ALL THE MONEY BACK, AND THE TOUR OPERATOR NEVER GAVE US THE MONEY BACK, (IS NOT REFUNDABLE), IN OTHER WORDS WE LOST ALL THAT MONEY BECAUSE WE WANT YOU TO FEEL GOOD, BUT DI NOT WORK IN THIS CASE.
WE DON'T SELL TOURS!
WE ARE 10 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE WATER FRONT, THE TAXIS ARE RIDICULOUS CHEAP, JUST $2 USD inside the TOWN.
WE HAVE CLEAN WATER AND A CERTIFIED PLACE BY THE TURISM MINISTER, WE ARE OFICIAL PLACE NOT AIR B&B.

Eco and Very Friendly hotel in San Cristobal
Harry and his wife are the amazing owners and hosts of this great hotel. The hotel is an easy ten to fifteen minute to the front /harbour making for a quiet and relaxing stay in advance of our cruise tour. The room was well furnished, the bed large and comfortable and a great breakfast. And above all Harry is a beautiful human being. I highly recommend. Thanks Harry. Ian and Lesley, Ontario, Canada.

Generous with food and great breakfast! Staff was very helpful and packed breakfast boxes for our early excursions, but you have to contact them on WhatsApp and not through hotels.com! Tv service may not work in the room

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
