Lonely Women Should Be Careful

The location of the hotel is very close to the pyramids, you can reach there by walking. You can see the pyramids from its roof. I don't need to talk about cleanliness, I think it is reasonable for the price you pay. The owner of the facility is trying to help and is attentive. I have a few caveats. The facility is safe, but it is not suitable for women traveling alone like me, due to its location. The road you use to go to the hotel is full of horses and camels, horses are running around, the road is completely full of stables and everywhere is dirty, naturally, it is very crowded and people disturb you. It is safer to travel by taxi etc. for solo travelers. Also, my bus arrived in Cairo at 6 in the morning. Only the uber app is available in Cairo. I entered the name of the hotel to call an uber, and when the uber driver took me to the location on the app, there was no hotel there. The location of the hotel appears to be wrong on the uber app. I had to call uber twice and paid a lot because it took me 40 minutes away. Therefore, what you need to do is to have the driver meet with the facility representative and ask them to describe the address. Because for some reason Uber drivers have difficulty finding the location of this hotel. I experienced the same problem when leaving the hotel. Although the Uber application sees my location, the driver cannot find the location. When leaving the hotel, 2 Uber drivers could not find the location. Even though I had the drivers talk to the local people there, I had to wait for 2 hours and the third vehicle I called found it very difficult. I really don't understand how this happens, so you should know this (Also, there is a situation I would like to share for those who are thinking of going to Egypt. Do not exchange dollars at the airport or foreign exchange offices! There is a free market in Egypt. Try to exchange it at souvenir shops, jewelers, etc. and bargain.) For example, in my period, the official exchange rate is 1 dollar = 30.80 egp, but as I said, if you exchange it to people outside of official places, you can exchange 1 dollar for up to 60 egp. That is, you can double your money. Therefore, there will be people outside who want to exchange dollars for you and will try to exchange them at the official rate. So bargain, the dollar price varies from city to city. They buy dollars from you at the official rate and sell them to the state at very high prices. So be alert!)
