Delightful apartment with a very helpful host
Apartment was large, spacious well laid out and well equipped.. There was a large balcony to sit out on with a great view of Lapadbay. The apartment had two bedrooms, one large one small but could accommodate two couples easily. We found the kitchen well equipped. And the surrounding area had a look at facilities including restaurants, food, shops, bars, and very close to swimming beach with a nice promenade, featuring a number of places to eat and drink.
Silva was very helpful in squinting us with the local area as well as some good travel tips. She recommended a good taxi driver for us as well
There are a number of stone steps to the apartments, but this was no trouble for us.
Would have no hesitation in recommending hostess and apartments, would stay again as we loved Dubrovnik

Fantastic apartment with stunning views of the waterfront
We stayed with friends at Apartments Silva. The apartment was lovely, very modern and well decorated with everything we needed. The main feature was the view from the balcony it was stunning. So lovely to sit there in the morning and evening enjoying the view.
Short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants.
Host was fantastic, so helpful, knowledgeable and at hand when we needed her. Communication was great and also arranged our transfers to and from the airport.
Totally reccomend. The only thing I would mention is there are alot of steps, but you can walk on the road to the main part to avoid the steps.
Beachfront lovely to swim in and lovely restaurants near by. Sports bar if you want tk watch the football, Mario's very close and they are a friendly bar with great staff

Ms Silva is awesome
The Apartments are easy to find, directly opposite the Hotel Kompas, on a one-way street. Parking can be a challenge but Ms Silva herself is amazingly helpful with the parking. She helped us twice get parking immediately outside the Apartments.
Access to the apartments is up a couple of flights of stairs. The one we had was spacious (3 beds), very clean with a great balcony, with a good view of the beach and promenade (& sunsets). The beds were great - very comfortable and we slept well.
The bathroom was fairly basic, with a shower with a strangely wobbly floor. However, it all worked well enough.
Ms Silva ensures everyone has access to Wifi. However, we struggled a little with it, as it was slow and dropped signal every hour or so. The signal to the TV was poor while we were there and we did not bother watching it at all.
We enjoyed access to a simple but perfectly adequate shared kitchen, which we used for cooking our dinner and preparing breakfast.
Access to the local beach is close but a fairly steep climb back.
We used Uber to get to the Old Town - very easy there and back.

Luxury, comfort & a grand view!
We stayed at the Apartments Silva in early August and LOVED it. Our top-floor apartment was beautifully furnished with a fantastic view over the Adriatic. Adored the book shelves doubling as bed-head. Ms Silva was friendly, drawing out the way to the bus station on our city map, and giving us handy tips on what to eat and where. The apartments are just above the marina and a short walk from the bus station that takes you to the old town. Near enough to be convenient, but far enough to be quiet. Wish the apartments would offer a breakfast though...
