BRESOLES HOTEL - NEVER AGAIN
We stayed here as a coupe for 5 days 2 nights. It’s our first and last. No way to stay here ever again.
There’s only 2 things to say about this Airbnb/Hotel - BIG AND EXPENSIVE! There’s really no need to spend CAD 1,600 for what they described “one bedroom suite” . Except for the size (some 80m) and cleanliness (the unit doesn’t look as if there’s anyone stayed in before us probably too expensive LOL) it’s NOT worth the price we paid for. No front desk, nobody to communicate with if there’s any problems. All VIRTUAL !!! Management costs must be close to ZERO!
This “One Bedroom” is total misleading as the bedroom is just the same bed as in other less costly units with no division for the bedroom! It’s just the way for them to jack up the pricing for our unit.
As first timers to Montreal, we are not familiar with the City and never knew that there’s no direct access from airport to Old Montreal expect for the 747 Express Bus which is always full and have to stand throughput the 45 min ride.
The Bresoles Hotel is like some 20 min. Walk from the closest 747 bus stop and imaging having to lug 2 big suitcases around the City and walk 20 minutes! It’s no fun for sure and my wife nagged me for the rest of the trip.
If we need to stay in the Old Montreal area, we recommend staying at the many Hotels along the 747 bus route, hotels such as Hotel Zero, Hyatt Place etc etc all very reasonably priced and much easier access to the airport bus route.
We learned our lesson this time so hopefully no other first timers to Montreal will fall for this place.

To call this a hotel is a long stretch. It’s an unserviced apartment. Location is good, the apartment is large, but it’s not a hotel. There are no staff. You are the staff. You check in online, providing id details. You use your phone to gain entry - don’t get a flat battery. You carry your bags. It’s like an industrial building converted to apartments. Everything is online.

The property and management were great. The “boarding pass” was a bit unorthodox. The property was somewhat difficult to access and on site parking quite tight( there are several outdoor parking areas which are less expensive nearby)
Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Use public transport. It’s convenient. Be aware there is a great outdoor seating area on the sixth floor.

everything was ok but i booked on hotels.com and it was not clear that check in was digital so i got there standing in front of a door with a keypad. Thank fully an employee came and help me in the process. Except for that i think there should be a few bottles of water in the fridge for late comers
