Our stay in Laghetto Stilo Barra in Rio de Janeiro was very pleasant. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special shout-out to the front desk team for their exceptional service. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options to choose from each morning.

It is not a 4-star hotel, it should be 3 or improve
The standard room is in very bad condition, little maintenance, dirty windows, old outlets, the TV is not smart and everything that can be seen is in Portuguese. The common areas are very nice and the breakfast is perfect

I start by telling that everyone of the staff/personnel we interacted with, was very professional, humble and attentive. This is an excellent plus. The hotel location was superb too, as well as the amenities.
My friends and I stayed from Tuesday July 14th to Tuesday July 21st, 2026, and here goes the negative aspect, of the entire week we stayed at this property, only one day were the 3 elevators fully functional. Sometimes, at the beginning elevator number 2 or number 1 were not working, the last three days of our stay, elevator number 2 was totally out of service, also for a short period of time elevator number 1 did not work, thus creating long lines and extra long periods of waiting time to get access to the only working elevator -number 3-. So the situation was complicated due to peak season, holidays in several countries in South-america. I was in a room on the 15th floor and 4 times that week I had to walk downstairs the 15 floors, and go upstairs once the same 15 floors. Elevator number one, only reaches to 14th floor. We should believe that "management" would act with promptness and readiness in situations like this, well...did not happen. I know that situations happen but this goes beyond any tolerable understanding. Not even and explanation or apologies.

I had a wonderful stay at Laghetto Stilo Barra. The location is perfect, right by the beach, and the hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. My room overlooked the sea, so I fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves, and I could even shower while looking out at the ocean—an unforgettable experience.
The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options, although I would love to see more choices without sugar or fructose for guests who cannot consume them, like myself. The pool was perfect, and the entertainment made the stay even more enjoyable.
Room service was very good as well. The only suggestion I have would be to add more simple, plain chicken dishes to the menu. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Nice hotel with late night pool bar
Nice hotel on the beach, very quiet beach but only 200 mts to the fun
Hotel reception has to be first , they were fantastic
Room was okay with large balcony (building new hotel over the way)
Very clean hotel
Pool was the best, with the swim up
Breakfast massive and good quality
Nice bars and restaurants within walking distance(but dark)
All good for a hot weather break
