Authentich Atmosphere and a lovely hostess

My family with 8 persons visit heartwarming Martha and her 2 sweat daughters in a very old house in the old historic Center, Paraty just near the harbour. If you expect a very luxury Pousada, don`t choose Casa de Hospedagen, Paraty, but if you want to feel, how it was living in the time, where the Portoguese send a lot of Gold and Silver back to Portugal, and the Pirates were hiding behind the nearest Islands. Still the water floats between the houses with High Tide, and still there are descendants from Portogueses, pirates and slaves. We had a great experience in this place.

Lovely place

We increased our stay here by an extra night mainly because it is so nice. The owner is very sweet and helpful, despite our lack of a shared language (our fault, not hers). The room is lovely and clean with beautiful dark would floor and with a shared marble bathroom (always had hot water for a shower). Location is perfect, in the heart of the old town. The breakfast is one of the best we have had!
Please note that Paraty's streets flood on purpose to clean them at high tide so take a note of this as you will have to wade through water at high tide.

Sandra, la dueña, es muy amable y nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos. Aparte, hace los mejores desayunos que probamos en Brasil .
Las camas y las almohadas son muy cómodas, las habitaciones son espaciosas (las fotos no representan del todo lo lindo que es el lugar).
Está excelente ubicado.
Si volvemos a paraty no dudaremos en hospedarnos de nuevo aca

Intimista e confortável

A Sandra é uma ótima anfitriã. Muito simpática, solícita e preocupada com o bem estar de seus hóspedes. A localização é perfeita, no centro histórico, perto de tudo, mas ainda sim em uma das poucas ruas calmas. O quarto é confortável, a cama é muito boa e o chuveiro não dá perrengue, mas ele pode ser apertado para alguns. Deve-se considerar que a casa possui uma arquitetura antiga, logo, a acústica dos cômodos não é das melhores, e ficamos em um quarto onde estava a caixa d'água. Não foi um problema para mim, já que o barulho constante de água me agradava, mas pode ser um problema para outros. O café da manhã é honesto e de qualidade, muito saboroso. Possui poucos quartos, o que dá uma sensação muito boa de acolhimento e tranquilidade.

Muito agradável e acolhedor

Poucos quartos, muita simpatia e gentileza da Sandra e sua filha Gabi. Nos sentimos muito bem, quase em casa (se não fosse a mordomia... não seria quase). Isso sem mencionar a localização.
Único problema foi a novidade da prefeitura de colocar estacionamento rotativo, e caro, em todo o centro. Neste caso, também, a Sandra se prontificou a nos ajudar.
