Convenient, calm and welcoming

Conveniently located in Sopocachi, the hotel offered a quiet environment at night, allowing me to get proper rest. The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with a private shower. Reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There’s also a very cool café right at the entrance, which adds to the charm of the place. Overall, a very good experience.

A good place

Really comfortable rooms which are clean and neat. Nice location close to many places such as student square, avaroa square, some supermarkets and the Prado area. The staff there was very helpful and always kind

A Good Choice in La Paz

This used to be the Selina Hostel in La Paz. Selina Hostels in Latin America were very popular because these were well run and these looked so much better than most hostels. The structure remains the same, and that's a good thing. Beds were comfy, the WiFi was excellent, there's a huge co-working space (perfect if you're working remotely while traveling), and there are kitchen facilities. Several things are in need of maintenance and fixing though. For instance the bathroom floor in our dorm room was always flooded because there's a gap in the shower enclosure and the liquid soap dispenser kept leaking soap onto the floor. I informed the front desk about this but these were never fixed during my stay.
Also, there's not much atmosphere. I didn't mind though since I specifically chose to stay here because I needed to rest. For those who want to make new friends, this can be disappointing. Selina Hostels used to be very social. I'd suggest having daily activities like walking tours or bar crawls to address this.
The location is pretty good. It's quite far from most attractions (about a 30 minute walk), but there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The restaurant downstairs serve good food and it's reasonably priced.

Amazing hidden gem in La Paz

What a great place to stay!
I’ve stayed two weeks in this amazing place what use to be Selina’s. Unfortunately as Selina’s didn’t pay their dept with Booking it’s only available direct or via Agoda/ Tripadvisor.
Hotel:
Rooms are very clean and very nice decorated. Huge coworking place with a big tv and a small kitchen on the 2nd floor. If I’m not wrong at the 7th floor they’ve a bigger kitchen if you want to cook.
All staff members are amazing and very helpful with anything you need. The two people that really went beyond are Alejandro and Paola, they helped me with everything I needed and I would say after two weeks we’re definitely friends! They made me feel home and thanks to them I’ve enjoyed my stay in La Paz a lot!! Muchas gracias amigos!
Also luggage storage is available if you want to go to other places for a few days.
During my stay a branch of Typica was opened and Martin, who needed up 3rd with the national competition works there. Martin makes incredible great coffee and ask him to surprise you with his creatures (I got a rabbit for the first time)!
The location
Sopocachi is very nice, safe and central location with many bars, restaurants and coffee shops at walking distance. One of the reasons I chose for this hotel is that my Spanish school was basically next door.
When I’m back in La Paz this is my place that I can call home!
