Nice boutique hotel

this small hotel was so nice and friendly the hotel staff was amazing and great way to unplug in Placencia. I felt safe on my solo trip and would love to spend more time on this island. The food was really good and it was lobster season. That was really nice .

Incredible first trip to Belize

We LOVED our stay at Laru Beya. I have never felt so authentically cared for, and all of the staff were incredible. It was our first time in Belize and after our experience it will definitely not be our last. In particular Nelsy provided exceptional service, and Papa Vince was an incredible guide on our excursions. I would highly recommend getting the adventure package as the excursions are really worth it.

Wonderful Hospitality

Visiting Laru Beya truly feels like a vacation because all you have to do is show up and everyone else will take care of you. We appreciated the warm reception, from Vincent picking us up at the airport and the front desk staff greeting us with peppermint infused towels and a welcome drink. Maria and Christopher took wonderful care of us at the Quarterdeck restaurant, taking the time to learn our names and have friendly conversation during our stay.
The two-bedroom oceanfront suite was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens. We had plenty of space to relax on the balcony, in our rooms, or the living area.
The pool area was nice and clean with adequate space for longe chairs and never feeling crowded. The beach area is suffering from the sargassum/seaweed invasion, which is an issue along the entire Western Caribbean. There is also erosion on the beach but still space for plenty of lounge chairs in the shade facing the sea. The cornhole game and 6-hole mini golf were fun options even if they aren’t maintained very well.
Scheduling excursions was no problem, as the front desk was very accommodating and Vincent drove us to visit the nearby waterfall and Xunantunich Mayan Ruins (where he is also a certified guide). Renting a golf cart to go into town was also easy.
We had very high expectations of Laru Beya based on previous visits to sister properties (Belizean Dreams and Coco Plum Island) and Laru Beya met all our expectations. Our family had a wonderful visit.

Experience at Laru Beya Resort & Villas

This place is the perfect stay the staff is so friendly and courteous. There is a welcome board that the guess names are place on. Checkin was super fast. Sea view is perfect, the pool is awesome and the rooms are very clean and beautiful The staff is really helpful. I wasn't able to make the Television work and a very kind young lady came to help me at my room. She is beautiful btw I didn't get her name. She also opened the door to the patio and gave me reassurance if I needed anything I could call on her. At check out the front desk young lady was super kind and exceptional customer service she asked about my stay and was very informative about the resort and the specials. Without a thought I would highly recommend family and friends here ❤️ looking forward to coming back pretty soon

Amazing Belize Escape!

We came back to Laru Beya 5 years later (after our Honeymoon in 2021) and brought our families with us for another WONDERFUL stay! We LOVE Laru Beya and can't wait to come back again! Nelsy, Christopher, Steven, and Omar took amazing care of us for all our meals and beverages. The staff took the time and effort to get to know all of our names and food/drink preferences and always made us feel at home.
Tristan hooked us up at the front desk and always made sure we were situated for excursions or in town adventures. We also had the best massages by Maritza! I highly recommend Laru Beya to anyone looking for an incredible stay in Belize!!!!!
