Gratitude

I have been staying at this hotel for more than 5 years (the purpose of a business trip). The hotel is in an ideal place for working moments. The price corresponds to the quality. The rooms are clean, the bed is fresh, and the most important thing for me is the presence of tea accessories. I feel at home here. Because My first and only choice is Lux Hotel Lankaran. City Hotel in Lankaran

This is currently one of few hotel options located in the centre of Lankaran. Points of interest in the city, like the bazar, the lighthouse or the Khan Palace, are all in walking distance. The hotel itself looks nice, and the rooms are actually well equipped. However, there were some shortcomings, e.g. water exiting from a plug hole on the bathroom floor.
Breakfast consisted mainly of cheese, eggs and sausages, served at the table.

Nice rooms, useless staff and breakfast in dirty dishes

The rooms are nice and clean. However, the staff is absolutely useless. The only thing they were interested in was booking a tour for us (day trip to Xinaliq). When we asked around we found out that they have a mark-up of around 50%.
The breakfast would be much nicer if served in clean dishes.

Good and not so good

Friendly, helpful and we got we had booked. Breakfast was quite good with lovely bread. Our room was well sized, but there was a constant bad drains smell from the bathroom that drifted into the whole room. We never got hot water to the shower, just tepid and the carpet was grotty.
Our friend's room had cigarette ash in the bin, which took 2 days to get emptied, despite requests and the room stunk of smoke.
This hotel has the potential to be a great place in a good location, but just a few things need sorting out.

Nice hotel!

I had two options when I looked for hotels to stay in Lankaran and my choice was Luxe hotel. The reason why I choose this hotel is location. It is in the city centre and near to all museums and important places.
Staff is very nice and very helpful. I needed help to go to Masalli from Lankaran, and they explained everything detailed.
The room was very clean and normal.
If you are in Lankaran, I recommend to stay in this hotel
