Great stay

Had a great few days with the family and had a very pleasant stay at the Atlanta Hotel. Great location within walking distance to all the sights and a good base to explore the city.

No air conditioning in summer (35 gr)

Very mediocre hotel in old stately building. Disinterested reception, no air conditioning, no elevator up to 5th floor, no coffee/tea facilities in room, no refrigerator in room (35 gr)

Lovely old hotel in true Viennese style

Atlanta Hotel, the classic building from 1895, matches the imperial heydays of the Habsburg monarchy. The Atlanta Hotel is strategically well-located just a few hundred meters from downtown. You simply follow Währinger Strasse, and then you will be at spot 1. Bezirk.
With ceilings reaching more than four meters and framed lithographs on the walls, the old-school rooms have a distinct atmosphere. The bathroom is modern, the beds are a bit too low, and the mattresses are hard. Pleasant with thick carpet on the room floor and no noise from the neighbours.
The breakfast restaurant is styled “Wienerisch” with an excellent, large buffet that not only includes breakfast but also brunch.
The staff is experienced and friendly. There are daily rooms where you can sit and read, moreover the facilities are poor for a 4-star hotel.

Experience not satisfactory

I stayed from December 30 to January 2. Positively I point out a nice breakfast, the courtesy of the staff and the location in relation to the center. The rest is negative, the assigned rooms were not adequate for booking evaluation, ours on the fifth floor are not accessible by elevator, which stops on the fourth floor. Mine in particular had the radiator not working, an intolerable situation given the low temperatures of these days. On my recommendation, an intervention was ordered, carried out on the day of my checkout. Checks must be performed in advance!!!

Good to stay there

Christmas holidays in Vienna and we booked to stay in Atlanda.It is located in a good location close to the tram and subway as well as close to the pizzeria, subvlaski, various cafes.The center is not far and about 300 meters there is also a supermarket.The hotel old style but with large rooms, spacious.
