Family-run, beautiful hotel directly at the ski post and the Gamsleiten lift.
Location & surroundings
The hotel is located right next to the Gamsleiten chairlift and therefore offers almost ski in and out (work-wise only VERY few steps necessary).
Room
We had a deluxe room.
The room has a very good size, has a sofa, a separate toilet and a refrigerator.
The furnishings are decorated in a modern Alpine look with wooden elements. The bathroom is spacious and has a large walk-in shower.
Service
All staff were very friendly and attentive.
There was a familiar and very relaxed atmosphere.
There are two wellness areas.
A swimming pool and a small textile sauna with relaxation room for all guests as well as a textile-free area from 18. There you will find a steam bath, a herbal sauna and a sauna as well as a nicely designed relaxation room.
The swimming pool is relatively small and the loungers are spread over several levels. Unfortunately, that's a bit unfortunate but you got the best out of the circumstances.
Gastronomy
In the restaurant there is a rich breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. There are all the usual things, including freshly prepared egg dishes, fresh fruit, a wide range of cereals and much more.
The selection for dinner is ok and the quality good. The menu is complemented by a daily changing menu from which the dishes can also be ordered individually.
We had deliberately decided against a hotel with half board, as this was always too much for us in past holidays. With prices of around 30,- per main course, it is ultimately a math example whether that makes sense or not. It certainly did not bring much variety, as almost all restaurants in the village are hotel restaurants with very similar offerings.
The bar offers a good selection of drinks, but at quite high prices. Compared to the other hotels of the same category we stayed in, the prices are about 20% higher. Definitely too expensive at the high price level that is already common in the ski resort.
Conclusion:
A nice hotel where you feel comfortable and which I would book again at a reasonable price.

Ambience, atmosphere, location, food and staff absolutely top
Absolutely deserved five stars. The telephone contact in advance with family Storch was already very positive and pleasant, which we only got confirmed on our arrival. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine for me and a cappuccino for my husband and also received our room early. It is all very clean and lovingly decorated. The wellness area invites you to relax and the entire staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The rich breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day, even the selection at dinner leaves nothing to be desired. We would love to come back and thank you for the pleasant and relaxed time out.

This hotel is just perfect for an unforgettable holiday – whether in winter or summer. The location is simply unbeatable, nestled in stunning surroundings perfect for both winter sports enthusiasts and summer holidaymakers.
This is where relaxation begins at check-in.
The staff is extremely competent, friendly and accommodating, and the hosts create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Of particular note are the excellent bar and restaurant, both of which offer quality food and drinks.
An absolute highlight is the wellness area. The panoramic sauna is an experience in itself, with a fantastic view that takes relaxing to a new level. The entire wellness area is first-class and contributes significantly to recreation.

Pure hospitality
We were guests in the restaurant. Friendliness and commitment from telephone reservation to farewell. For me, this is gastronomy in practice. The food is of a high standard - you can't compare it to star restaurants in Berlin. Chapeau - thank you for a successful evening.

Excellent service
This time we had a cozy deluxe suite with a view of the mountains and ski slopes. Cleanliness was top notch. More light in the room would have been helpful for us.
All the service staff were very friendly and attentive. We were particularly pleased that the boss was willing to accept a birthday voucher.
The breakfast buffet offers the usual range of food in addition to freshly prepared egg dishes and the option to squeeze fresh juice. Dinner, if you want to eat in the restaurant, is served. Although you can only decide in the evening what you want to put together and how. The quality of the food, the selection and the presentation is very good. We really enjoyed it.
The panoramic sauna area for adults on the 4th floor is nice. I would have preferred a single shower with a door. I found the textile sauna cabin in the basement, which I looked at, to be gloomy and not very inviting. I also found the small swimming pool area unappealing and the water was a bit too cold for me - and for the toddler next to me too.
The hotel is a short distance from the Gamsleiten lift, from here you can start the red circular tour. If you cross the road towards the Hotel Edelweiss, you will reach the lifts from which you can start the green tour.
We can recommend the hotel and would like to come back again.
