Located in the centre of Toowoomba, Leichhardt Motor Inn is 850 metres from the City Golf Club and 2 km from Toowoomba Railway Station. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. EV charging is available in front of the outdoor pool.

The room was really clean, and whilst the pool was small, it too was clean and comfortable. Only a short walk to Grand Central shopping centre.

dodgy
Stayed beginning of month. Didnt know they ran sex parties above the managers unit monthly !! Weird people lingering around late told us . Creepy . Management are well aware but obviously dont care.Woudn't stay again

The worst experience.
Review of Leichhardt Motor Inn, Toowoomba (Queensland, Australia)
We stayed at Leichhardt Motor Inn while passing through Toowoomba on our way to Brisbane, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
The main issue was the service and the attitude of the owner. When we raised concerns, the response we received was along the lines of: “What do you want from us? This is just a motel. A cheap motel.” We found this response dismissive and unprofessional, especially in a hospitality setting.
The room itself had several problems. There was significant noise from outside during the night, making it difficult to rest. Additionally, the room had a strong chemical smell, which may be particularly uncomfortable for guests with sensitivities, allergies, or those travelling with children.
The room allocated for four people felt quite small and not well-equipped. During the night, we were woken by water leaking in the bathroom, which left the floor, our shoes, and belongings wet, and made the room humid and uncomfortable.
At around 3am, we had to move all our belongings to another room, which was especially difficult given that we were already tired from travelling.
Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience. Based on our stay, we would not recommend this property.

The staff were friendly and courteous and efficient. The room was spotless and comfortable.

Was great but downhill now
When Peter and Fiona were the managers, it was the best place to stay. Very clean rooms, great beds and friendly reception.
Since the place was sold the rooms are not as clean with dirty towels left in our room but willing to overlook new staff error.
The reason that we will never go back is the new manager charged us double and would not refund us for his mistake.
