A fabulous stay!

Highly Recommend Cooroona Lodge! Very friendly & helpful staff. Hosts, Lachie & Amy, were wonderful. The breakfast (Continental & cooked) was excellent - great way to start the day! The lodge offers a complimentary pick up & drop off service, which was a huge bonus. The location was excellent, providing easy access to everything! A very warm & comfortable lodge! I do not hesitate to recommend.

Great times

Great accomodation. Great location, service and food.
Would definitely stay there again, we had such a great time. Lachy was great and the complementary over snow pick up is very helpful.
Ski in ski out was an added bonus we weren’t expecting.

Highly Recommended

Very comfortable lodging. Beautiful continental, and variety of hot breakfast each morning, coupled with amazing views from near the fireplace are a perfect way to start the day! Mexican dinner and excellent bar facilities, (at great prices) are a great way to finish the day, while watching the sunset from the lodge lounge.
Our hosts Lachie, Amy (plus the help from the kids and staff), were fantastic, and made our stay memorable.
Lachie picked us up and dropped us off from the accomodation transfer building at Falls Creek. Not only did it save us for paying an exorbitant nearly $90 “lodge transfer fee”(which wasn’t budgeted for, nor mentioned in any any Falls Creek information brochure), it allowed us to meet Lachie, and see some of the village on the way. I think this service was a great intro to Falls Creek, and made us feel right at home with our lodge host.
Cannot recommend Cooroona Alpine Lodge highly enough.

An Amazing Place

This is an amazing place to stay if you are visiting Falls Creek, no matter how long you are staying for. The owners Lachie and Any are fantastic and very hospitable. There are heaps of games for kids to play, there is a games room downstairs with a TV which is always popular, and sitting around the fireplace is amazing. The foods for breakfast are fantastic, and the restaurant for dinner is popular with everyone as well. This is the second time we’ve visited because we love it so much. I would highly recommend it for anyone.

Thinly veiled racism from a business that trades under an Indigenous name.

The facilities and location are fine. The proprietors are not. At breakfast on my second day the proprietor Lachie handed me my breakfast saying “we are politically neutral here, and you’ll have to take that hoodie off.”
My hoodie had the word “Yes” printed on it. It is in support for the yes campaign for an Indigenous Voice to parliament.
I asked Lachie if he was serious. I was quite shocked to be told I couldn’t wear a piece of clothing in the place, no matter what it said. He replied “yes. We’re a happy place here” as he walked away.
From that moment we felt unwelcome and unsafe. My 16yo sone thought it was funny that they took such offence. I thought it was ironic that their business name trades on an Indigenous word (Cooroona means “place if lots of water”)
If you care about equity for our First Peoples, please don’t use this place.
