In need of renovation, but clean

Since we booked a room with a dog, we were in the old building (room 1). The rooms are past their best, everything is crumbling. The bathroom is very small, the toilet seat used to be white, now it's more brownish.
But it's very clean, everyone is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and completely sufficient.

A Family Wedding Reception

My wife and I joined our family here for a Wedding Reception. The food was basic but good - a nice lunch and a light evening meal. The staff welcomed us warmly and were efficient, unobtrusive, helpful and friendly. The reception room was attractively set out and we'll maintained. Although I have scored this establishment 3/5 I think our family had opted for a low budget celebration and all in all this place proved to be good value for money.

A great family owned hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights, while on business in the area. I found the whole experience to be really smooth and enjoyable! The staff were extremely friendly, the room was quite spacious, very clean, all together, I felt very much at home. On my last day, my taxi didn't turn up and I had to get a train, and only for the family being kind enough to give me a ride to the station, I would have missed my train! I would definitely return!

Nice stay

Great value hotel with a really good breakfast. Run by a very friendly family and a really good choice for travellers. We got there quite late and the owner was great at helping us find a local bar for some food.

A great find

This is a very friendly family hotel, with very modern rooms. They stayed up late for our late arrival and we were able to have a local beer.
The breakfast was very good and featured some homemade apple bread. It was sweet to see the family's young children have breakfast in the dining room in the morning. Overall a good choice if you are visiting the area.
