Good city hotel

I spent one night at the Scandic Nürnberg Central and was very satisfied. The former Maritim Hotel was completely renovated and has presented itself as modern and freshly renovated since its reopening at the beginning of 2024.
I would especially like to highlight the breakfast buffet: a very large, diverse selection – I can highly recommend it. The location is excellent, right by the pedestrian zone and only a few minutes' walk from the main train station. The hotel's own underground parking garage is practical, although it does cost extra.
Conclusion: A successful fresh start for this traditional establishment – I would be happy to come back.

Location is fantastic! Right next to the old town and a 2 minute walk to the train station and tram line, it made getting around so easy. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The buffet breakfast was incredible! Staff was friendly and helpful. Would 100% stay again and recommend!

Nice hotel but look out for hidden costs not obvious when booking, parking is €22 a day and when I asked if this was discounted due to us staying I was told I could park across the road in the public car park if I wanted it cheaper - cheers, very helpful. Spa use is also not included, even though the cost is reasonable, I feel it could be clearer up front. Breakfast also needs to be booked at a significant expense.
Nice hotel and good location, but transparency and nicer staff would make it great.

Extremely clean room, with enough space to move around in. The decor of the hotel is very nice. The hotel is very quiet, and they had popcorn at the reception desk for guests. I wish all hotels were like this.
