Nice family hotel in the center of Elze

Strategically located at crossroads, must therefore have been a inn for a longtime. The hotel has a fresh look, inside and out. The room I occupied was large, so was the bathroom and looked like recently modernized. Exceptionally clean. The only drawback for those with mobility problems is that there is no elevator to the upper floors.
The tastefully furnished restaurant serves Italian and German fare (Chef is Italian). Breakfast is 'continental' German, which includes egg, ample cheese, cold cuts, bread, jams and coffee and served at the table. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Elze is a small city close to the larger Hildesheim and, of course, Hannover, but the town itself and especially the surrounding hilly countryside offer all kinds of pleasant historic surprises to the traveler, among them especially the impressive neo-gothic Marienburg castle, a present by the last King of Hannover (Georg V) to his queen and still in possession of their descendants, the Dukes of Hannover and Brunswick. It is open to the public and some exhibits display the historic links of the House of Hannover to the British crown. Well worth a visit!

Af en toe denk je: dit is hem. Nou, dit hotel Niet. Prijskwaliteit is ver te zoeken. Kamer ok, groot met goedkope materialen maar veel te duur. Badkamer ok
Restaurant gesloten. Ontbijt matig.
Afijn deze locatie moet minstens €25.00 goedkoper.

80 € ist schon hoch hierfür, 65 wäre angebracht

Viele Zimmer laut zur Kreisverkehr, unsere hinten war OK.
Innen WC, keine Fenster UND keinen Abzug....
Wenig Abstellmöglichkeiten für Klamotten,
Kostenloses Wlan aber sehr schwach in 2ten Etage
Fahrräder sollte einfach draussen in die Strasse abgestellt werden, wir haben das nicht akzeptiert.

Ein toller Geheimtip

Nette Gastwirte, frisch renoviertes Zimmer, alles sehr freundlich und liebevoll das Essen vom Chef persönlich gekocht...frische Zutaten(Steinpilze) sehr lecker, ein schöner Abstecher außerhalb von Hannover.

Buffetessen mit mehreren Leute

Preis- Leistung stimmte leider nicht. Der normale Gastraum war an einem Samstag Abend komplett leer. Alles war irgendwie überbacken oder mit Soße bedeckt, so das wir nur raten konnten welches Fleich es denn war.
