Ideally situated directly on the historic Market Square of the picturesque town of Beilstein, this rustic-style hotel overlooks the Moselle river. It boasts free wireless internet and a furnished sun terrace.

Beilstein where time stood still.
We stayed in the Main House overlooking the Moselle. Nicely decorated and clean spacious room with terrace. Extensive morning buffet with the choice inside or on the Moselle terrace. you can also eat hot afternoon and evening. Our little dog was also welcome. One minus for the Main Building, there is no fridge in the room, but you can get chilled drinks at the reception. There are also studios available from the same hotel but slightly further away. Ideal location, bus stop to the hotel itself and boat dock diagonally across the hotel. Beilstein is beautiful but not suitable for persons who are difficult to walk, even with mobility scooter it is not doable. It is built up against a hill and everything rather steep up with cobblestones. Very quiet in the evening. Parking near hotel affordable, but there is a large parking free a 500 meters further. We will definitely be back but outside high season. Staff are very friendly and professional.

Top stay
Had a fantastic stay, very friendly welcome. Breakfast extensive and freshly prepared, dinner super and service extremely friendly. The room was clean and fully equipped. Not being able to detect any downsides.

Hotel to feel good
Central hotel, quiet location, nice big rooms partly with great views, good beds.

Watch out! Rip-off! Read AgB's carefully or book somewhere else

In the reservation portal, it is said that a room can be booked without a credit card, "The room is reserved until 18:00, after that the hotel cancels" - no word about cancellation policies.
I reserved a room for 186€/night and later, for personal reasons (illness in the family) we had to cancel the trip. The day before I contacted the hotel and asked for a cancellation.
The hotel management immediately sent us an invoice i.H.v. 80% of the price (146€) sent and referred to the AgBs we accepted at the time of booking - "You agreed at the time of booking that you agree to our booking conditions ". Free cancellation would only be possible 14 days before arrival, otherwise 80% of the price will be charged!
"We're sorry if they got something wrong" - here's the bill, now please pay!
The same room was later offered for 256€!
Toll! That's how you become a millionaire!
Customer satisfaction? What nonsense!
The customer is always king? Of course... in the marketing books but not at Hotel Lippmann!
I would definitely recommend the place!
Next time I book a hotel in Koblenz - this is only a short drive and I find something definitely friendlier and even better!

Amazing location and great accommodation!
Stayed in Hotel Haus Lipmann’s ‘Studio am Markt’ for three nights in late Sept during a two week driving tour (from Scotland) of Mosel/Schwarzwald/Rhine. Studio is just 20 metres across Markplatz from the main hotel and accommodation was great – well appointed and well equipped with a comfortable lounge area (including a small kitchenette with fridge, hob, dishwasher), great walk-in shower/large bathroom and large, comfortable sleeping area. Studio overlooks Marplatz, with a small balcony/ seating area – great spot to watch the coming and going below (see photo).
Several great restaurants within a few seconds walk, plus wine tasting at Zehnthauskeller on the doorstep (too much of a temptation really). Disappointed we didn’t manage to eat in the hotel restaurant (aside from breakfast, which was amazing) but we were out and about too much exploring. Nearest free parking is five minutes walk, but it’s a pleasant stroll along the banks of the Mosel so not really an issue - a few ‘pay’ spaces (free after 1800 until 1000) at the entrance to the hotel which lets you load /unload luggage.
Hotel staff were excellent – very friendly, welcoming and professional. As some of the other reviews mention, one of the best things about staying in Beilstein is being able to wander round the centre of the village in the quiet mornings before the boat/bus tourists arrive and again in the evening after they depart (although it wasn’t too busy in any case as we were late in the season). Great stay and highly recommended!
