Great place with fantastic food!

Fantastic hotel not too far from the motorway. Great and nicely decorated rooms but the experience was the dinner. We had 3 different main courses in our company and they were all way above average and what we expected. If you pass by it is definitely worth while spending an evening here!

Hell on the hill

This is not a hotel it is hell on the hall in summertime room temperature 35 celsius, it is health and safety, we been with our 4-month baby and she all night crying, I had hell time and demand close this circus, we will report to additional institutional and local government about this, as well we go to court against them, do not believe anything, this hotel hasn't even a star, Hotel hasn't parking at all, they haven't ventilation system, in summer hot like in hell, in winter cold like in hell, it is first and last time my in BAD Belzig, the name says everything. Tyni small shower room, and Wifi - the shame of Germany (so no Wifi), and hotel itself.

Exceptional Receptionist

While on a bicycling tour from Prague to Berlin we had an opportunity to stay at Burghotel in Bad Belzig. How often does one get to stay in a castle! The accommodations were comfortable and the meals were good. But what impressed us more than anything was the receptionist. “Mika” was friendly, efficient and helpful. She insisted on carrying our luggage up flights of stairs (no elevator in the castle), as well as translating and transcribing some of the dinner menu for us. An employee of her caliber would be a huge asset to any organization.

Fun place

We biked into town, and everyone in our party was excited to stay in a castle. We didn't have any of the bad experiences from other reviewers. The office "ladies" were polite and helpful, and the rooms pleasant. The windows, because it is an old fortress, are very small, but the rooms are nice enough. The bar and restaurant provided very good preparation of food, and the prices were reasonable. Walking to the SPA is quite a distance, as is the actual town, but there is nothing there much to see at any rate.

A place to relax and eat a very good breakfast before a bike excursion

what i liked:
-The hotel has a beautiful and relaxing location close to/in nature
-The breakfast is fantastic, there are many options and the food is very fresh
- The on-site restaurant is good (not excellent) and with reasonable prices
what i did not like:
- The storage space for the bikes is very small and chances are it is already full
- the Room and the bathroom get very hot during summer. All rooms are equipped with a little fan which helps, but might not be enough for some people.
