Oasis Lodge

The rooms were spacious and very neat and clean. The price was quite reasonable. However, no breakfast. There were other rooms that had breakfast included in the room rate. The only drawback was the late arrivals that made a lot of noise. Overall, I would recommend this property for a good nights stay.

Average- didn’t expect better

Has whatever one might require from the room for the sole purpose of just spending the night there- but one would not spend more time in the room than necessary. The rooms do not seem safe with a lot of suspicious men walking around the property and sleeping on the couch in the corridor. Staff scream and cut grass on a Sunday morning and that’s terrible to wake up to.

Over priced and cheap impression.

Shower door could not close properly, wind coming in from underneath door, blowing directly unto the bed. I asked for Rooibos tea in the room and when I came back there were 4 bags of black Ceylon tea. Not a pleasant experience. Window faced the road, light traffic woke me before 6am.

Late arrival

We arrived at the hotel late after attending a local party. I had phoned earlier (19h00) to make a booking. on arrival we told that debit card machine is faulty and can't accept EFT payment because fax mschine is off and can't receive e-mail as proof of payment that time of the night.
I then drove back to town leaving my family at reception to draw cash at local ATM.
Their prices are affordable with clean spacious rooms. They provided us with set of towels.
We did not try their breakfast based on negative comments on Tripadvisor by other previous guests.

Excellent value for money

We arrived late and left early. Reception open 24hrs. Room has aircon, mini fridge and TV. Neat and clean, modern furnishings. For the rate you cannot beat value for money. Little things niggled, such as kettle plugpoint. Kettle has to be placed on floor in front of dustbin to boil. Wifi was not available, restaurant had no staff with food standing around and receptionist was disinterested in helping beyond basics.
