Easter weekend

Perfect location for both surfing and hiking.
5 star accommodation and wonderful host. Was perfect for our needs and has shop close by

Top accommodation

Very nice accommodation in a quiet location just outside. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Everything clean and with large private terrace in our room. Very friendly welcome. Supermarket just 3 minutes away.

78on 5th. Great relaxing home from home

We have stayed in hermanus many times but usually in the centre , we decided we would try a little further out of the centre about 4-5 mins drive , we decided to look at 78th on 5th last year whilst we were staying in the centre , as luck would have it the owner Jose arrived as we were viewing from the road outside. He could not be more accommodating , he showed us round Several of the guest accommodation he has to offer .
We contacted him on our return to England and booked 2 of the suites one looking towards the ocean and one by the small but nice pool and garden both had air conditioning , our stay was great Jose and ton could not have made our stay more comfortable , their local knowledge of everything from eateries to sorting out shark diving or boat trips and the like was great and nothing was too much trouble and it was like a home from home on a very quiet cull de sac just out of the main town but still 5 mins by car to be in the centre , our room was very big with a large kitchen although we did not use it , the big double bed in the lounge and nice settee with coffee table a big traditional desk and good wardrobe space with tv made a very nice stay for our 7 days there and a small balcony with room for 4 people to sit at a table outside , the garden room was smaller bedroom but also a small lounge but lovely large outdoor space and within 5 mts of the pool not huge but solar heated and much bigger than a plunge pool .
There is also a lounge area with big leather sofas separate for guests use that we and our friends used most evenings after coming back from dinner in town .
78on 5th was a great find for us and we will be returning .
